Latin American Student Organization celebration!

Elon University's Latin American Student Organization had their first celebration as an official organization a couple of weeks ago. The organization was founded by Nicole Morillo and Jericka Fernandez and became an official organization on October 7th; they have been working on this for almost two years. Mayra Garcia, Nicole Lockhart and Collin Watson joined the LASO Executive board as recording secretary, corresponding secretary and treasurer, respectively.
LASO is focused on the advancement, awareness and acceptance of the Latino community, both on Elon's campus and in the surrounding community.

Organization Fair

Every fall semester Student Union Board host an "Organization Fair". Typically, the Organization Fair takes places within the first two weeks of the beginning of the semester. Every organization/club is given a table that is organized in front of Moseley Center (if they choose to attend). With more than a 150 organizations on campus, it is a very hectic experience to say the least! However, the joy of finding out info about different orgs on campus, getting free t-shirts and free food is definitely worth it!
